It is remarkable the power of one's words upon certain people. Working in the animal welfare sector, even some people's words can not be trusted. We all have the heart and ultimate goal in mind - to save animals. Yet, from time to time, we are faced with so called "PR Nightmares" that really have sprung from nowhere. In the midst of trying to set up campaigns, education events, adoption events...to deal with random illegitimate comments seems so unnecessary. The SPCA is 100% truthful about all our policies and code of conduct. Any words from non-SPCA staff should be taken with caution as they may not be the correct information you are getting. We have reasons behind our policies, backed by mass amounts of research and adapted from international animal welfare groups. We urge people to always do their research and find out for themselves the truth of things before deciding on any matter. As always, the SPCA is always happy to answer any public inquiries. spca@spca.org.tw
