Taiwan SPCA

Taiwan SPCA receives no government funding and thus needs to be self-sustaining through the support of public donations and organizing fundraising events. At a time when the global economy is unstable yet living costs are continuously rising, we understand that for many people it is hard to make any contributions at all to charitable causes. Even though non-profit organizations everywhere are seeing a decline in public donations, we know that we can not give-up or feel beaten down by the lack of funding available to continue our work; there are still many stray, abused, suffering and neglected animals that needs a voice to speak up for them and thus our work can not stop.

The Taiwan SPCA has always believed that "a little can add up to a lot" and during this time when everyone's budget is tighter than ever, we hope to encourage people to contribute what they can, as our efforts added together truly can be a great force that will be able to help more animals in need.

Since 2011, the Taiwan SPCA has teamed up with local restaurants and small businesses to offer a convenient, simple, and economically sustainable way for patrons to support the animal welfare cause. Participating restaurants will be directly adding 5 NTD (or providing YES or NO checkboxes at the bottom of each customer's bill) to help the Taiwan SPCA gather small change and donations. Customers are now able to give a small amount and contribute to a donation pool that can greatly add up to help us continue our animal protection work.
