Health:

  • Aug 20–Sep 8, 2025: Hospitalized for treatment—dental tartar/periodontal disease, severe matting, dandruff, interdigital inflammation, ear infection (due to excess hair), removal of cyst near tail base, swollen anal glands, heart murmur, coughing, tracheal degeneration, and lung spots. Neutered during hospitalization.
  • Needs ongoing monitoring for lung spots (avoid overexertion).
  • Heart murmur check every 6–12 months.
  • Requires joint supplements; avoid jumping/vertical activities due to spinal condition.
  • Currently undergoing heartworm treatment.

| DiDi's Story：

DiDi is a cheerful, gentle, and well-mannered little boy. With his sweet looks and loving nature, it’s impossible not to want to spend more time with him. From the very first meeting, he shows his affectionate side, leaning in for cuddles.

He quickly learns how to match the rhythm of his human companions—quiet and calm like a little angel when things are peaceful, then lively and affectionate when it’s playtime. With a wagging tail and a look that says “Would you pet me, please?”, DiDi has a way of bringing warmth into any home.

What makes him extra special is his sensitivity. He notices the emotions of the people caring for him, offering quiet companionship when you’re tired, and sharing his joyful energy when you’re in a good mood. He’s a true little “comfort boy,” always ready to be by your side.

Though DiDi needs some medical care and regular monitoring, none of this dims his optimistic and affectionate personality. He remains loving, hopeful, and eager for the day he finds a forever home.

His past:
DiDi was one of four small dogs kept in a cramped cage, exposed to the weather, mosquitoes everywhere, with no walks, no medical care—only loneliness and illness. Investigators spent a long time patiently negotiating with the owner before finally freeing them.

Now, DiDi is safe, cared for, and waiting for a family who will love him as much as he loves them.

| Update：

  • 2025/08/20 ~ 2025/09/18All four paws show obvious interdigital dermatitis. The coat is severely matted, with a large amount of scabbing and dandruff, and there is persistent scratching. The veterinarian recommends continuing skin medications, medicated baths, and heartworm treatment.
  • 2025/09/24 There is an issue with tracheal aging, so it is important to monitor and maintain good air quality.
  • 2026/03/02 There is diarrhea and dehydration, likely due to an infection. Currently, small frequent meals are being given to reduce gastrointestinal stress while monitoring.
