- Aug 20–Sep 3, 2025: Hospitalized for treatment of widespread skin infection, interdigital inflammation, ear infection with heavy earwax, and bloody vaginal discharge. SDMA slightly elevated; fluid found in front of bladder; spayed during hospitalization.
- Currently still needs dental treatment (tartar/periodontal disease) and ophthalmology care for her eyes.
- Spinal care required: needs joint supplements, must avoid jumping or vertical exercise.
- Undergoing heartworm treatment.

WaiWai is a sweet little girl full of innocence and joy. With her adorable looks and simple, happy nature, she gets excited over anything new and shares her cheerful energy with everyone she meets. Friendly with both people and dogs, she spreads happiness like a little sunshine, instantly lifting your mood.
Right now, WaiWai is still learning how to interact with other dogs. The world is still fresh and full of discoveries for her, and she approaches everything with curiosity and openness. Her pure, sunny spirit makes her a delightful companion.
Her past:
WaiWai once lived with three other small dogs, all confined in a cramped cage. They endured heat, cold, swarms of insects, and had no walks, no medical care—just loneliness and pain. It took a long time for investigators to patiently negotiate with the owner before these dogs were finally freed.
