領養時注意事項
1. 要養寵物就是要負責任，認養後要愛牠一輩子(10年＋），在家不關籠，出門繫牽繩，確保健康安全，不讓牠再度流浪街頭
2. 需徵得全家人同意，將來不會為了搬家，出國，結婚，生子等問題而拋棄牠， 更不可因為年老，生病而遺棄牠，也確定家中無過敏體質者
3. 以後每年皆須定時打一次預防針，每個月固定吃心絲蟲預防藥，每個月點預防跳蚤／壁蝨藥
4. 固定帶狗狗出門散步 （一天2－3次，每次半小時），一個開心，健康的狗狗需要定期的運動
5. 每隻狗狗／貓咪有不同的性格，要耐心的去教導正確的行為 （比如：訓練大小便）。通常訓練不成是因為主人，而不是動物的問題
6. 領養後，協會會持續的關心送養出去的動物，請不要覺得麻煩，我們一定要確認動物的安全與之後生活環境

Important Things To Know When You Adopt
1. You must be a responsible person in order to have a pet. When you adopt, be ready to care for your animal for the rest of its life (10+years) and give him/her the love they deserve. Don't lock them up or tie them up at home, make sure you use a leash when going outside, make sure your animal's safety at all times and NEVER abandon them.
2. You must have approval from your whole family to have a pet in the house and that no one is allergic, you will not abandon your pet even if you're moving, going abroad, getting married, or having children. An animal will age just as a human would, don't abandon them in their golden years.
3. Make sure you take your pet to get their annual vaccination, make sure your pet is eating monthly medicine to prevent heartworms, make sure you are giving your pet monthly flea/tick preventatives.
4. You should take your dog out for a walk 2-3 times a day, half an hour each time. A happy and healthy dog needs regular exercise.
5. Every dog/cat has a different personality. You must be patient when training your dog. When training is not working, it's you who's making the mistake, not the animal.
6. After the adoption process, the SPCA will be doing regular home checks and follow ups to ensure the safety and living conditions of the animal.
